Well-done to the Organising Committee and all involved in making the AGM 2022 a successful event. MACVA would like to express its sincere thanks to all MACVs who have attended the meeting and some stay put to the next event in the evening at Sinchoiwah Restaurant for the Get Together Dinner.

MACVA GET TOGETHER DINNER AT SINCHOIWAH RESTAURANT ON SATURDAY, 19 MAC 2022

1. MACVA has its first social function after a lull of two years due to the current pandemic. The Get Together Dinner (GT Dinner) was held at Sinchoiwah Restaurant, Manjalara, Kuala Lumpur on Saturday 19 Mac 2022 with strict SOP compliance. Today’s dinner was also to commemorate MACVA’s 6th Anniversary since its formation started from single service to tri-service on 8th Mac 2016.

2. A total of 23 tables with 6 pax per table each was successfully sold to members. Out of which, 15 tables were taken up by individual member and the remainder 8 tables were sold individually which made up of 134 pax. The diners were mostly from Klang Valley, except five (5) from Melaka and two (2) from Kuantan. Along the way until the actual day, seven (7) members withdrew due to Covid -19 positive or close contact. The committee however, had decided to sell the vacant seats to the last-minute or walk in members. As at 19 Mac 2022, a total of 129 members/spouse/family members/friends attended the dinner.

3. The master of ceremony (MC) for the night was former MACVA Hon Sec, Lt Col AJ Wong. The highlight of the night was the introduction of the new line-up of MACVA Management Committee and the cake cutting ceremonies. All seem to enjoy the soothing melody, good company and the delicious food served.
